Stupendous Sachin.......

Stylish, classy, extra-oooordinary,scintillating,marvellous and so on. The master blaster deserves everything. Ever since his arrival, Indian cricket has seen a new revolution. With his breathtaking strokes, Sachin has stolen the hearts of many cricket fans across the globe.. Be it the longer version of the game of the LOI's, Sachin has made his mark. He is now the leading century scorer in both forms of the game. He has broken almost every record set in cricket.
"Records are created to be broken". But Tendulkar's records would hold for a very long time. This natural left hander's Right handed willow casts the magic. It makes the top bowler's to be on their heels. Be it the fastest bowler of the trickiest spinner, eveyone fears for this 5 foot volcano. With criticism mounting against his stamina, Sachin has struck his best ever form. His consistency record in 2007 is mind-blowing. Except those century misses by a meagre margin, he has proved that he is just the same old LITTLE MASTER of the 90's. With rumours about his retirement mounting, Sachin has brushed aside such predictions. Though he cannot be expected to play for India in the next WORLD CUP, he still has a good two years' cricket left in him.
We'll have to wait and watch if he is able to reach that prestigious 50th Century in ODI's. Lets hope he does....

BANGalore.....

The result of the third and final test in the Indo-Pak test series is almost evident. Just like in Kolkata, the Indian Batting line flourished on the first 2 days of the Bangalore test, and again just like in kolkata,it seems that Kamran Akmal and Misbah have come to pakistan's rescue, yet again. The duo which shattered the hopes of the Indians' victory at Kolkata, seems to be determined to cast the magic once again. With Pakistan needing only 58 runs to avoid follow-on,draw seems to be the likely result.
Pakistan was 369 for 5 at stumps on day 2. The highlight of India's bowling is the amount of extras which is 70, just two short of a world record. With Misbah(54) and Akmal(32) batting strongly, the chances of victory for the world number 2 team, seems remote. A lot now depends on Bhaji andKumble to spin the ball India's way, so that India could clinch the series 2-0.
